First, you have to be convicted of a Federal crime. The President can't pardon you for state crimes. The Governor does that. After that, I recommend asking your attorney.

You are more likely to be pardoned of you commited a drug crime or what is called a white-collar crime. such as embezzelment, fraud. as these are the crimes that Bush pardoned recently.
So your attorney or you must petition the Prez.

Go to someone politically connected with loads of money.At least that's how it worked for the last President.Probably still does.
