I don't think you are really engaged to a Mexican, or to anyone else. You are delusional and want attention.
If, by small chance you are telling the truth, my answer is that a person should not break up with someone just because of the food they are best at making. She will learn to cook other types of food. You are pretty shallow dude. Maybe you should do the cooking, and see if she dumps you because she doesn't like American food. Then you can put all the pressure on her.

No, not for that reason. I think if you're questioning the relationship over just one issue, there's something else too it, or you're paranoid of commitment. If you want to make this work, be prepared to do a lot of the cooking yourself, and eat the Mexical food you hate once in a while to please her. Maybe you will learn to like it.

that would be stupid reason to break up with someone.
you could either do most of the cooking or tell her you don't like mexican food.

you should not break up with her. if you are engaged with her, it means you love her.. either you have to learn to love her food OR just don't eat it. either way, you can't break up with somebody because of their food. find a compromise.

Not unless she has a problem with your looking like Weird Al Yankovic. Then you'd have irreconcilable differences.

If food is getting in the way of your relationship, then yes. You're wasting her time.

Hope you like spicy food. My brother's old lady makes mexican food out of grits and eggs. Even your mashed potatoes will have ground chili peppers in them. Yechhh!
