Okay well I was reading a online interview on Gerard Way the lead singer of My Chemical Romance said that his music is most about making a deal with the devil and past experiences. So i was wondering was religion is Gerard Way. He seems to me like Catholic and now i think he is Satanist im not sure

Im pretty sure that he is Catholic.
Those lyrics were part of a fictional story that the album illustrates about a man who makes a deal with the devil where he has to bring him the souls of a thousand men to rejoin his wife. So no he's not a Satanist.

He isn't a satanist.
The deal with the devil is a fictional part of the fictional story of the album three cheers for sweet revenge.
It's just part of the story. A guy makes a deal with the devil so that he can rejoin his wife. He has to kill a thousand evil men.
It's not real, it's just a story.
