Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant, known to help somewhat with muscle spasms. Try taking a shot of your fav hard liquor (if you are of age). Use good judgement, of course, as to when, where, how much, or how often. Being drunk causes it own set of problems! Preferable to alcohol, gently work out, massage and stretch the offending muscle. Do what you can to relax, i.e., hot shower/bath, meditate, soothing music, etc. BUT DON'T TAKE A HOT BATH IF YOU'VE BEEN DRINKING, YOU COULD PASS OUT AND DROWN. If twitching persists, becomes painful, or frequently recurs, see a doctor/neurologist just to be safe

i think it's a sign of dementia...what you need to do is hang upside down like a vampire and eat garlic...if you follow my instructions you are good to go...
