No. One had nothing to do with the other.

President Ford was an honorable man who was respected by his colleagues on both sides of the aisle. He reunited the ccountry after the devisive Watergate affair, and was responsible for many of the rules allowing "average" people to invest in retirement funds like 401(k)'s. Among other things.

If you are trying to smear Republicans with this, you ought to walk away now, before you embarrass yourself.

Not particularly. Gerald Ford was 93 and had been really sick for a long time. There's nothing very shocking or coincidental about a 93-year-old ill man dying.
