somewhere out there I know there is a website for the most common mistakes people make when they're singing to a song on a radio. I can't remember what it's called.

Not sure I understand your question but if I do the answer may be:

Ad-libbing

Wouldn't bet too much on this spelling. Yahoo says it's OK but it looks wrong to me for some reason.
