November 22nd, 1963 was a groundbreaking day in history not only because on that date John F. Kennedy was assassinated, but because that day ushered in a new era in news reporting. That era continues today and it is the era of instant access to live news, as it is happening. In today's world anyone next to a computer can report and others can learn of the news as it happens, as was evident by the reports of Saddam Hussein execution just minutes after it happened. On that fateful day in November the reporting of the news changed forever.
