do i need to use any other type of protection during the firdt 7days of my new pack of birth control? or do i have to wait till the 7 days are up to be safe? (i'm on my 2nd pack og birth control right now)

You should always use extra protection to prevent the transmission of STD's.

If you're on the second pack already, you should be safe if you managed to tkae the pill regularly last month.

Now that you're done with the first month its ok to drop the other forms of protection.

If you were on it last month, you should be safe for the rest of the time you're on the pill. I say should only because not everyone responds to certain levels of hormones. You should read the insert in your pill pack to be sure.

if it is your second pack and you finished the first pack of pills then are safe from getting pregnant

If you have already completed one pack of pills than you are safe.
