Its always here, but our concsiousness blocks it out...talking about where it goes...its here already, our dying just shuts off the interference. Think about the proverbial question, How many angels fit on the tip of a pin? What happens when we die, with regard to the soul, is very natural, but you won't find it in biology. Biology is part of the interference.

I believe you are correct in saying that the soul is not "material."
The very existence of a soul is taken on faith. Most believe that the soul certainly does "go away from the body" when one dies.
Hopefully, the trip is to heaven - and not the other way.

The soul is material, so it cannot survive the death of the physical body, it does not go away from the body after death...it dies.

You statements are assuming facts that are not scientifically agreed on. We cannot have any discussions until we can agree on the facts.

Souls are based completely in faith, and therefore we cannot measure nor observe them in the context of science. Perhaps the religion forums would better suit your question.

Who says the heart stops exactly when the soul leaves?

Soul's don't exist. These are science rooms.

If you want to talk about mythology and fairytales then I'm sure there are rooms to address those topics.
