I can't shoot the guys before they kill Diaz! HELP!!

This mission is early in the game and it is hard. Kill the guys before they come to Diaz. Stand on the stairs and crouch. Activate the rocket launcher cheat (if u use cheats) and kill the guys! For those guys that get close to Diaz try something like an SMG or a third person vies pulp-action rifle.

Instead of standing on the stairs, stay on the ground and kill the enemies as soon as they come. This seems to save you from looking around constantly. Plus its more exciting being part of the battle.
