cheap? go with used games. there are no batteries in the DS chips, so a used product is still good.
even used, most games aren't that cheap - they're from a rather new system. the DS hasnt' been around that long.
some games come out at cheaper prices. decent ones among them are brain age, and big brain academy.
fun games include mario: partners in time, final fantasy III (the most expensive DS game iv'e seen), children of mana, and a few more

-Nintendogs (think that's how it's spelled)
-New Super Mario
-Mario Kart
-Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
-Castlevania Portrait of Ruin
-Resident Evil DS
-Final Fantasy III
-Elite Beats Agents
-Metriod Prime Hunters
-Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2
