Soul?

2006-12-31 08:30:15 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 2

This is not a biology question. However, a heart can stop for several minutes and a person can be revived. In some types of surgery it can be stopped for many hours. When the person revives you then have three possibilities.

1) The soul went away and came back
2) The soul never went away.
3) The soul does not exist anyway.

go to any dr and they will tell you the heart can stop and the soul can still be there and it can start again. There are alot of anomalies. I think When it's your time to go you go and if it isn't you don't. The soul leaves right when it is supposed to.

"Souls" are metaphysical fantasies and have nothing to do with biology or reality.

And a little help with English and its weird 'do' construction: your sentence should begin with "Why does..."
