What major would be the best for an information systems manager? Accounting, computer science, finance, or management information systems? I would like to know what would be the best, second best, and so on. Now how about for an investment banker? What would be the best, second best, etc.

In a much as all these jobs are in the scientific and mathematics end of disciplines, these are the type majors you should consider. General background of knowledge, experience via interships and coops, as well as network of professionals in the field are what you are going to school to get so if this is the work you are looking to do go to the best schools you can where you can get these knowledge. experience and networks.

I would recommend you take a look at the US News & World Report College Annual (which is at their website and in hardcopy) for guidance on best schools. There are also many other guides at your local library or bookstore.
