my period isn't due for another 4-5 days but this test said it could detect 5 days before your period. One line is dark pink and there is another but it is faint but noticeable I am not sure if that means yes or no the directions say yes but I don't want to tell my hubby if I am not sure.. anyone have the same experience.? :)

oh yes honey! That means yes! Listen to those directions! I have been pregnant twice and the first time I was the same way as you and so I went out and bought two more tests took one right then and a week later....The line was more distinct after a week but the first two were so light you could barely see them. So maybe wait a few days to feel more assured. But I promise it's a yes.

I tested 4 times before I accualy belived in the faint line. But yes all 4 times the line was faint. Just show your hubby the test and the directions and see what he thinks. Thats what I did and then the next day i went to the docs for a real test and sure enough I was. Hope its waht you want. Good luck

The lines often vary in depth of color. If there is one reguardless how faint it is considered positive. The line only appears if HCG hormones are present. This hormone is due to a functioning placenta supporting baby congrats. And Happy New Year.......Once in a great while there are false positives........so if it makes you feel better do a second one...in the morn. then watch how dark that line gets....

We had the exact same thing happen to us, and it turns out that it was a yes! I have read several times that any line, no matter how faint, is a yes. That's how it worked out for us! (we took another five days later and it was a definite positive!)

As long as you looked at the results within the time frame, i say you are pregnant. I took one last year and had the same faint line and it was indeed positive.

My first was the same, I guess any second line and it's pretty for sure you are pregnant, why not try another one to be safe, in a day or two.

Wait a week and then take another test. Or make an appointment with your doctor to confirm the results that you got. Usually, the second line doesn't appear unless you are pregnant, but it is not 100% reliable.

I used 1st respose 3 day before my period was due and the second line was very faint and I am now very much so pregnant...YAY congrats!

A line is a line.
If it was blank and you saw a line 10 minutes later, it would be negative, but when you see both lines immediately, it is definitely a positive.

well usually yes but I would re-test in a day or so or go get another one and if it does it again then you can tell him yes!!
