ipod issues?

My mom got an ipod nano for christmas but we are having problems installing it. We put the installation CD rom in and it finished but I-tunes wont open. What should we do?

Go to apple.com and download the latest version of iTunes.

after that, you should be OK.

download it without the cd rom.
like go to a website & dl it.
