The best BBQ in Houston is Goode Co. They have 2 locations one on Kirby and one on the Katy Frwy. They slow smoke their meat until it is fork tender and the red sauce has a bit of spiciness to it.

If you're way out in Clear Lake, you can't go wrong with any of the Pappa's BBQ locations. For a unique experience, go to Goode Company or maybe try Drexler's.
For a real Texas experience you'd have to do some drivin'.

Ottos, inside the loop. This is suppose to be George Bush's (the Dad) favorite place for BBQ. They had it catered to the White house several times.
