they usuall kick a FG. when they get in FG range they start to run and hold on to the football and not to turn it over while still gaining yards. then on 4th sometimes 3rd down they will kick the FG to win the game. (they sometimes do it on 3rd down so if there is a bad snap they can throw it away and have another shot.) And no NFL overtime is sudden death.

They would never change it to the college format. That's the stupidest format ever. The proposal would make it so if the team who gets the ball first (after a kickoff, not starting at the 25) scores a TD, then the game is over. If they get a FG, then the other team gets an opportunity to score a TD. If they kick a FG, then it reverts to sudden death. I'm fine with the current sudden death format. Defense is part of the game of football. And if the defense can't stop the team who wins the coin flip from getting in to field goal range, then they deserve to lose.

No. Sudden death, first person to score wins. Also, usually they try for the touchdown and get as close as possible, but end up getting a field goal.

Usually it is a FG that wins the game and the other team does not get a chance to tie. In college they do get a chance to tie or win.

generally the team gets a field goal, because as soon as they get close enough they run the ball and try to just get better field position for the kicker, the only time they score a TD usually is with a long pass for a TD

Usually score a field goal to win in OT. And no, in NFL, the first team to score wins.

usually try and get a score asap so useually you will see them go for a feild goal because the game goes into sudden death or the first team to score wins
you will also see them go for TD's it's just whatever was easiest at the moment
