Children's "Butterfly Song" with the words "And right before my very eyes, 3 little butterflies"

There is a Children's song about Butterflies, maybe from Shari Lewis or a similar childresn't entertainer, probably from the "60's". My brother is looking for the words to sing to his grandchildren (1 two year old and three triplets).

Here is what he remembers;

Unfortunately, I only remember some of the lyrics. So here is what I remember - and it's not from the beginning:

………………………………….. It's time to go to bed,
And right before my very eyes, 3 little butterflies, 3 little butterflies all began to hatch,
And the first little butterfly says, "a chirping noise - …………………",
And the second little butterfly says, "a chippering noise - …………………",
And the third little butterfly says, "I don't want to be a butterfly, flying around all day-ay-ay, I just want to be a record star and sing all through the day-ay--ay-ay-ay-ay.
