That is what the promo implied. I too only like the Vegas/original verison and think he is a great actor. I know his contract is up after this season and he had mentioned in an interview that he wanted to come back to Chicago and work in the theater. I'd hate to see him leave the show, but would love to be able to go see him in a great Chicago production.

I have an open question on here asking about his leaving. I heard it from a friend. I HATE the fact he will be leaving, but according to one of the people who answered my question he will only be gone for 4 shows & he is contracted through the end of the season. I can't imagine the CSI LV team being without him. I want them to get rid of Catherine Willows, I HATE her character. The others aren't so bad....
I have not been able to get into CSI Miami. The characters just don't strike a cord. They don't mesh real good. Kane bugs me. I don't like the way he always looks down or his head falls to one side. Are his neck muscles not strong enough to hold his head up????
As for CSI NY. It is o.k., LOVE Gary Sinise, but....

Please say it isn't so. I love Grissom. He's a fantastic actor. Demanding and a perfectionist, but he wants things done right the first time. Don't blame him.
I wish him the best, but will miss him like h**l. The show will fail without him.

He is only leaving for I think 4 shows. He is under contact through next year.
