Dearest.....dearest Kirsty.........I thought when I read your question that I had submitted the question in my sleep under another name!!!!!!! We all know that the TV remote is an extention of a man penis right? Well.....the computer is just an up to date version. My man hogs the remote and plays poker on the laptop too. I have told himthat he cannot possibly concentrate on the poker and watch TVat the same time. He has relented and bought another laptop...they are both wireless sohe can play poker and I can play Ebay at thye same time..........just take the bloody remote from him.......the more that you let him have his way themore that he will take.....give an inch and they want a mile.............Sorry........I have the laptop with the spacebar problem!!!

no it`s not fair, i have the same problem with my hubby, everytime i want to watch something on the tv he wants to watch some stupid war film or something similar, the same when i go on the computer he needs to go on it for some reason or another, so i find myself bored and it`s not fair,at the moment he is on the play station so i take this opportunity to go on the computer, men seem to think it`s all theirs and it`s not, maybe i`ll take his car for a spin cause he won`t like that but it might just be enough to get the message home, try anything once lol good luck and a happy new year to you and yours xx

No it's not fair, but most men are selfish. Find some thing for you to do that doesn't involve him. call up a girl friend and have a cup of coffee, or a few friends for that matter. show him that you know how to have a good time. maybe that will spark an interest in him to want to do more with you. But you should also tell him that what he is doing hurts your feelings, and you don't like. ask for a compromise. good luck hon.

Get another PC. It's a $1000 Freeroll. If he wins spend the money on the PC.
I vote for poker anyday!!

While he is doing this things why aren't you doing things to occupy your time. I understand that you want some attention, but does he have to be on top of you 24/7. I actually like when my hubby is keeping busy and not bothering me, then I really can get some chores and shopping done without feeling guilty that I'm neglecting him. You should talk to him...prioritize your time so there is enough of it for you two to spend together.

No way - in our house the rule is you don't get both. If you're on the computer you don't get the TV too, and vice versa.

Do as I did and get your own computer on broadband if you want to stay in, otherwise leave him to the telly and computer and go out and enjoy.

Absolutely not. Stop being the underdog. Instead on watching what you want on the telly . Or if he is a bully about it, leave him.
