I just bought a pair of shoes with a very high heel; they're confortable but because of my old shoes my feet hurt really bad. What can i do to stop the hurting?

Buy those pads that will cushion the balls of your feet. And also lots of extra band-aids and/or corn pads. When you notice any slight pain, place one on that sore spot to prevent a very painful blister later.

Hosiery also helps. A lot of women don't wear it nowadays, but they're still okay to wear! In fact, colored, patterned or even fishnet hosiery can even add some fun to your outfits. If you're wearing pants, wear really thin socks or knee highs.

And wear the heels when you know that you're not going to be on your feet all day. You want to look good, but not kill yourself!
Just remember that you don't have to be standing or walking. You'll look just as good sitting with those high heels on. Guys don't care.

I used to wear flats only. Then I lived in Manhattan, New York City for 3 years. I have never seen so many women in heels! Really amazing! Needless to say, I was converted over. Now I have lots of heeled shoes in various heights for different occasions.

Enjoy, girlfriend! And strut your stuff!

Well, when it comes to any new shoe or heel, especially if your feet hurt, you need to keep wearing them for at least a week straight. I do this and then my feet feel used to the shoe so they do not notice pain anymore. I have had blisters from heels and just sore feet in general, but I just keep on wearing them and the blisters go away and no more pain. Good luck.

When I buy a new pair of heels I wear them around the house for the day to break them in and get my feet used to them. Heels need to be worn for a little while before they become comfortable. Also try to work with your posture. Make sure you walk straight, chin up, and shouldars back. That will also help.

Get foot massages, especially the ones where they concentrate on the heel. Or soak your feet in warm water with oils and salts and rose petals inside. It will soothe your feet. Don't wear hells 24/7. Also, you should start with smaller heels and then work your way into big ones. You could also get gel heels.

Make sure you limit your wear of high heels. Over time and with much wear, you may develop foot problems. If your feet are hurt that may be a sign that you need to lower your heels. Check with your doctor for more advice.
