Ignorance or a closed mind is no reason to deny that something exists. Or does it?

Sure, it can be like discussing religion or politics, whereas an argument can be easily started.

Personally, I believe in UFO's for the simple fact that there has been too many sightings and unexplained situations to date. I do not, however, believe they are from Mars or any other far-distant planet, but rather from right here on Earth. Only from a different time. I believe that there will be a devistating nuclear blast caused by the terrorists, and sometime in the far distant future man will find a way to travel back in time to our present-day era to change the inevitable. That being said, if a UFO lands on the White House lawn, it would behoove us to heed their words and follow their advice.

It is not only more logical but most logical to establish exactly what you mean by UFO,then ask your question pertaining to it. The reason why is: If one goes behind a building and pick up a brick and throw it over the building and you did not see him pick it up, is that a UFO?

It's more logical not to believe in UFO's because anyone's eyes can play tricks on them and people can be convinced of anything. Now the existance of aliens you can believe because the Earth is part of billions of planets in the universe, out of simple probability you can say we're not alone.

You are implying that "UFO" means "alien spacecraft." It doesn't.

A UFO is just that: an unidentified flying object. But as Carl Sagan once said "Just because you can't identify a light in the sky, doesn't mean it's a spaceship."

There have been many times I have seen things in the sky I can't immediately identify, but I don't automatically assume they are alien. In fact, I automatically assume they are simply something I've never seen before.

Surely YOU have also seen things you cannot identify. That means, by definition, that YOU also believe in "UFOs."

UFO is Udentified Flying Objects. To that end, I believe that people saw something. Was it aliens?...I doubt it.

I think that when one considers the fact that there are literally millions of galaxies out there, each of which contain tens of thousands of solar systems, it seems only logical that at least ONE more planet out there contains life. To deny that sceintific probability you would have to use Christian logic which means denying real logic and going on conceited faith that God made us and didnt make anyone else.

logic has nothing at all to do about believing or disbelieving in ufo's.

No. Consider our place in the universe and then ask yourself why would some being journey millions of mile through a hostile environment to cruise our tiny little planet.
