Well, why worry about the prime? It's all good, and just like anything else, it gets only better with experience.

Usually starts at age 30. Of course, this can vary a year or two in any direction based on hormones and genetics.

I think I heard it was around 30-35. I'm not sure if it still holds true, but that is the general rule.
