I miss the old days, but it still can be funny sometimes.

For those of us who watched the show in the beginning (1975) and saw the amazing cast of relatively unknown people who went on to become stars, it's just not the same today. Here's the oldies: Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris, Laraine Newman, Gilda Radner and Bill Murray.

SNL has gotten considerably worse with the exit of Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, and Phil Hartman. The show was at its best when Chevy Chase, Jane Curtain and Dan Aykroyd were on it. They used to have cutting edge and new artists as musical guests, but now it caters to whoever is popular at the moment.
It's time to cancel SNL.

I liked the show best in the early 90's. Miss the great comedians.

No I don't, it fell apart in the mid 1980's. Go back and watch the older stuff and compare.

Yes, it's very funny. Wish people like Tina Fey didn't leave. I thought it was funnier back then.
