Well....
As for Ur objection & Q! I see no harm that u asked it....
My objection here is for Mr. Nanoda who has no clue what so ever about how other people celebrate New Year...
Saying Non muslim nuts!!!!!
For ur info Mr. Nanoda, ur Christian brothers & sisters esp. the Egyptians & many other around the world spend the night in churches praying for everybody & that the world would be a safer & better place & that our country would be in peace....
PLs next time, have some respect....

what is the point of asking such a question. no one would get out and count the people celebrating the new year eve & 100% no one will ask them about their belief, so it is a question without an answer & the most important thing that it is only concerning them. ther are free to do whatever they want to do. they are adult & know the sequences of their behavior. Islam is so crystal clear about everything. so ask & think about something useful.by the way HAPPY NEW YEAR

Very few EGYPTIANS celebrate that way, and i guess that most Muslims and Christians spend it either with family/friends or as lazlouz said they spend it at church praying for others. In both cases, i think that most of us prayed for a better world in this new year. I myself celebrated it with my family and we all prayed for a better year to come.
