New Years Eve 2006 Decmeber 31

I did not post this question so that everyone may dispense their morals and viewpoints. It was my understanding the intent of this forum is to inform. The internet is quickly losing it's luster and content to the marketers and porn freaks. As recently as two years ago, a search on Yahoo! would quickly reveal the answer to such a question. Now 87000 hits will come back for this kind of query. How useful is that? About as useful as the uninformative and punitive replys here. Oh -- and as for avoiding the roadblocks, ask anyone who lived through the holocaust, if it was better to avoid a Nazi roadblock or circumvent them. The police do a fine job when asked to, and I applaud them everyday for their contributions. Even though it is not your concern, I am the DD this evening and have volunteered to drive folks to and from home tonight. That said, does anyone know the answer to the question?

I used to know the ones in Springfield MO :-)

Try to make friends with the son or daughter of a senior policeman/woman. Their young adult "kids" always seem to know!!

Since you are the DD you shouldn't worry about it. I've been the Designated Driver many times, and it doesn't matter where they are.

Was it necessary to bring up the Nazi thing? Sheesh.. Bring it down a level son.

I hope that you aren't asking so you can avoid them. Have you seen the television advisory about the fact that a "buzz" feeling when drinking is still DRUNK driving. Having worked in the law enforcement field for 27 years I can tell you that dui is not a laughing matter. Far too many Mothers, Fathers, wives and husbands have cried because of someone dui killed their loved one-or themselves. Please rethink your plans. If you drink please don't drive and if you drive PLEASE don't drink. Happy New Year and may God bless.

Ever hear of a designated driver? Then you won't have to worry about DUI checkpoints.
