That is still a very broad question. What about "buying a house in Texas?" A better resource for buying property would be a title company in the county/city you want to buy in. There are state, county, and city rules and regulations that must be considered. A title company facilitates the transfer of ownership and should be able to answer your questions in detail, but only if you have specific questions.

What are the transfer fees and how much are they typically?
Who is responsible for getting a survey/appraisal/inspection?
Who pays agent's commission?
Is Texas a mortgage or deed of trust state? (hint...deed of trust)
Why is that important?

The more specific the question, the better answers you get.
