How long is your lease for? Can you speak to your landlord about removing his name from the lease or only renewing it for you once the time is up?

HE moved in with YOU. A quick claim deed works on home ownership. Check with an attny to see if there's something similiar for a lease. WHO pays the lease? If you've asked him to leave and he refuses. I'd put his stuff in trash bags on the door step. Then change the locks.

Contact a good attorney. There must be some way to work this out so you don't lose everything, and yet he will have to move. I feel really bad for you, and hope you find a way. (Or, you could find someone else, put them on the lease, move them in, and make the jerk feel like he makes you feel :) Good luck.

unfortunately, there is nothing much you can do about that at this time. If his name is on the lease, there is no way to move him out. The only option is to wait when the lease will be out, and then renew it without him on it. Maybe talk to the landlord and ask if she/he can give any suggestions (like restructure the lease to make it shorter, and then renew it without him).

Ignore him, just until the lease is up. Then see if you can have him taken off the new lease, then he'll have to leave. If your landlord won't agree you may have to move.

See an attorney and bring all your "paid" bills from all your belongings.
