study off the Collegeboard SAT prep book (it works just as good as the prep class), and definitely pay attention in class because there are some stuff in class that might help you out on one of the SAT questions.
Most of all, studying off the SAT book should help if you understand what you read, plus it gives good tips just as a class would. You don't have to have all the SAT book. I would recommend the Collegeboard SAT book or the Princeton SAT book, maybe both.
Good luck.

How do you have time to study if you dont have time for the prep class? Find the time to take the class.

Get one of the prep books books from your local bookstore. Look for something that offers lots of practice exercises and tips. Also, see if any of them offer a disc with computer base practice tips and tests.

Cut out something less important and clear your busy schedule for a prep class. You will be glad you did.
