so, i'm watching my neighbor's kid.

and right when they left, the kid takes a dump (of course!)

so i grab a new diaper out of the bag and notice that the bag says "9-15" pounds.

well, surely this kid hadn't even pooped even one pound. so i figured i still had a ways to go.

well, it's been about 5 hours now, and i think he did it again. but i still don't even think he's hit even three pounds yet.

is something wrong with this kid? should i call his parents? i'm sorta worried since he doesn't seem to be putting out the maximum poopage! i mean, according to the diaper maker, this kid should be producing way more than this! (i can't believe they would actually expect people to suffer with this smell while we stack on the pounds!)

The kid must be faulty!

But maybe test his intellect, give him a jigsaw puzzle and time how long he takes to do it. Most of them say 2-3 years on the box but I know kids who can do them in ten minutes!

Yeah, when I was babysitting it happened to me too so I just took the diaper off of the baby set it on the floor and pooped in it myself until I got up to 9 pounds and then I threw it away.

The weight is for the kid. The child should be that weight to wear the diaper because of the size of the diaper. You don't want to weight 105 lbs and wear size 9 panties.
well, babies don't want diapers that are too big or too small either, it is uncomfortable and may result in the diaper leaking if it doesn't fit properly.

Ho, Ho, Ho, very funny. I hope in the meantime you have actually changed the nappy? Oh, and the weight refers to the child's weight, not its poop output per nappy, or per day Don't spoil his parent's night out, it is not an emergency and they deserve a little time off now and again. Happy New Year.

are you serious, the 9-15 pounds should be the weight of the baby, not the poop
