You can't I don't believe. We have Call Waiting Deluxe. It does tend to slow down my internet surfing if someone calls while I'm online.

You'd have to buy Call Wave or something like that.

I use Netzero and I got to pick a free number that comes with my subscription. So I have a number I give to a few select people and when they can't get through to me because I'm online. They call the number and leave a voice message. It then get's forwarded to my emails and I can tell when I have a new message. I open it like any other email and listen to my message.

Check into some programs like that.

Why don't you consider broadband, it's the same price as any Internet package, plus the added advantage of being able to have phone calls while you are using the Internet - there are many companies to choose from - take a look at Tesco - you'll be amazed at their offer!

When I had dial-up a message would come up on the upper left side of the screen and give the option to "click here to put net on hold to answer call" I click there lose my connection and there would be nobody on the phone. I have DSL now so that is no longer a problem.

I dont think there is a way im afraid. You can try a cheap broadband package or a second telephone line. (I would try the broadband option)
