19 yr old is still a young age. They can dress like that just as long as it doesn't come off looking like a prostitute, if you know what I mean. I don't think its okay for any girl to dress with a super short skirt, and a really small tank top.
But if you're talking about a cute jean skirt that is above the knee but not short that it looks like for a 12 yr old's clothes, then I don't see the problem with that. And if you're talking about the normal tank top that you can find at Old Navy, I don't see the problem in that too.

Depends on the top and the skirt its self. If they look tacky together then I would not wear it. I'm 18 and I still wear jean skirts but with a shirt that is sort of fancy to dress up the skirt.

Jean skirts not too mini but, maybe just too the knee jean skirts that would look very cute and how about a Lacy Cami looks great and its fashionable try walmart & aeropostale for some cute but not too young kind of chic and your age kinda appropriate good luck!!!!!!!!!!1.

As long as the clothes fit, look good, and are suitable for what you will be doing, go for it!
Although I'm much older, I still like jean skirts and tank tops for casual summer wear.

No it is the perfect age. I'd say 14 or 15 is the min, and maybe 40 is the max. Dress like it while you can! hahaha

Well, "everybody" wears jeans and tank tops....why don't you just buy what you like ... so much is acceptable.... even nice clothes.... and nice clothes take you different places...try?

It is on the edge of acceptable for kick around time. For going out, consider upgrading a bit.
