It is just an excuse for idiots to get drunk and act stupid. There is nothing special about it just another day.

I wouldn't say I hate New Years eve, But I do agree with you for the idiots who use it as an excuse to get drunk. What bothers me the most is this is the worst day in the world to be out on the streets because of drunk drivers. We were invited to celebrate at a friends house but I refuse to bring my kids out on the road with all the drunk drivers who will be out.

as far as New Years Eve goes, i've heard it said that the way you bring in the New Year is representative of how you will spend the year...i will be safe at home with my family playing games of some kind and having fun...hope you have a safe New Years Eve!

I don't drink so i agree with you there
but if you like fireworks
that can be pretty nice
you don't need to go with anyone
as long as you can get home safe by yourself
you can make the night good

I don't really ,Hate it........ I have a an apt, where all the folks like to drink & shoot their guns...(2 kids got killed last year)......Long Beach,calif.
think it's to late to drive out to my cabin in the desert???? lol
