2007 is not going to be such a bright year for any of us. The USA beleives there can be another terrorist attack, the bird flu will cross oversea's, maybe a war with Iran or N. Korea (hope not, that's just stupidity--don't get me started there), same sex marriage's allowed, higher gas prices, perhaps a military draft, and global warming.
There could be more on the list, I'm still looking. What do you think? Is this world really coming to an end? :(

Yes it is america's crisis, but going to war with other's does involve the world. And diseases spread along with global warming is a world wide problem.

All about love? Yes I think so too, BUT, explain me this which is stated in the bible.
Corinthians 6:9, TLB. "Don't you know that those doing such things have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who live immoral lives, who are idol worshippers, adulterers or homosexuals—will have no share in his kingdom." I sent an email to of_bright's with this quote. I just don't get it, if it's all about love, then why state this in a bible? Give me a reason why homosexuality is not a sin, and I can change my mind. I'm simply confused at the moment that's all.

That`s what I`ve been thinking about!!!!!! The whole world that God created is now becoming a world of violence and guns......................it`s madness! I`m a Christian too, so my advice is to pray and have faith, truth, and most of all, love in your heart (as well as other good things). And people also hurt your feelings and kick/punch you like what a guy in my class in doing, it`s so annoying. Let`s join hands with other Christians and pray together, and I shall be with you in spirit. God bless!

Well if you read carefully, you will see that Jesus had nothing to say about homosexuality. The only references to homosexuality are made by Paul, and none by the original 12.
As for the Old Testament, the prohibition on homosexuality is in the middle of a bunch of other Jewish laws, which also include many obscure dietary restrictions, and even prohibitions against wearing mixed fabrics.
Do you wear poly/cotton blends? Do you eat pork or shellfish? Do you socialze with others during your menstrual period? have you ever worked on the Sabbath? If so, then you are comitting an abomination

Wow are you a pessimist or what????I worry about all that stuff too.Let me give you some advice my friend.Try to only worry about the things you have some control over,like your family,friends,etc. Keep your little corner of the world as harmonious a place as possible.Live life to the fullest while you can and try to be a good person and you will be ok.Trust me.Try to have a happy new year and God bless.

I think that it's extremely ignorant of you to loop same sex marriages in the same category as war and the end of the world! Seriously, letting two people who love eachother get married is NOT a bad thing.
I don't care if you're Christian. Church and state are separate. Besides didn't JESUS say to accept and love all people?
