dam good point it wouldn't matter how many number one Puck's Detroit get they will still lose with the management and coaches they have up there

The first 2 picks are gonna be QBs anyways, so why worry about it. Detroit had nothing to lose and Dallas had nothing to gain because they are already in the playoffs. Let's just call this the "Barry Sanders Curse" They haven't had a winning season since Barry left.

Because the Lions can't even win at being the worst team. Oakland killed us in the preseason, but we can't even get the number one pick. Similar to when the Lions had the worst record 5-6 years ago, but because Houston was an expansion team, we got stuck with the second pick overall. They get zero breaks. The curse of Bobby Layne continues for one more year (2007) to close out the full 50 years of futility.
