Yes, a very good one infact. Use Sitesled.com. No adds or anything. There are some problems, and I will tell you what they are now.

1. Your username is the name of your website. Watch it!
2. Sometimes (usuly once a month) the server will go down for afew hours.
3. The built in website builder doesint work well, so instead create the site on your desktop and upload them yourself.

You are alowed 250MB on there server. Go look for yourself:

My friend,

Nothing is free. You get what you pay for.

So many people get taken by the FREE this and that. Trust me, nothing is free on the internet. They will get you some way.

I use to host a "free" web site designer. Sure, it was "free" to you only we ONLY had a 256 download speed. Share that with about 500 other users, guess how much bandwidth your site got? Almost nothing. Then, combined with that, for our "Paying" customers, we would put tags on the non-paying customers sites, directing them to another location. Really, what you did was advertise your site for someone else.

Let's say I have two or 3 baking businesses on my host computer. They are all free with a bunch of caveats. One of the caveats is that we own all of your traffic counts AND we can tag your web site with our content. After all, it is free, right.

Now, if one of those bakers pays for hosting, we might tag one of the free sites with a pop-up to the person that pays or just put a 1 out of 30 redirect to another site.

Legal? Sure is. After all, what did you pay for? NOTHING.

Does it make it right. Not really. But NOTHING is for free.

Pay $5-$10 per month and get something legally binding.

Tom

Free would show advertising for other products, so you are better off with your own Domain Name and website. Visit http://www.doteasy.com and get your own name and website for just $26 per YEAR. It's awesome.

Then use places to advertise. Visit http://www.craigslist.com and http://www.eptop.com and promote your new website.

But you want to advertise locally, so consider an AD in the newspaper. Advertise on a local diner's placemat ad. Put up flyers on local community bulletin boards.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Get a webpage.
Work with Yahoo Yellow Pages to get your name into their list.
