I get bord at work and watch alot of movies and tv shows at those free movies sites. and alot of them you can upload your own movie how do u do that and does it take long. I have a HP. Im not very computer savy so i dont know the program and all that stuff but i bought it about 7 or 8 yrs ago and i have windows 2000 (i think) on it.

I would not do that If I were you. Downloading dvds from the internet is called Piracy and that is against the law. I will not tell you how to do it because I dont want you to get in trouble. Just trying to keep you from being the carton of ciggaretts in a jail cell

It doesn't work quite like that.
For you to do what you want to do you'll need to become a lot more informed about the Internet and how stuff works, try howstuffworks.com and http://en.wikipedia.org,
Use search words like Internet, FTP, server, computers, torrent, ISP, and any related links.
How can you "upload" a DVD to the Internet?
There's bit torrent, for one, but that's not what you have in mind.
DVDs are very large (above 3 gigabytes)
Firstly you'll need some where to put the DVD, you can't just have it "floating out there" (your email box won't work).
You can use a file transfer program like "fast ftp" to transfer your DVD to where ever you want to send it to and it will take forever, especially with that antique you're using, far more for if you have a dial-up connection. (trying this would be a sure sign of madness).

first u need 2 buy a dvd burner. second u need 2 find a cd that the burner prog. like sonic, power play, r nero. if u cant find them download limewire. its free. u have 2 go 2 download.com. U can search all the ones I talked about early. If they dont work download a prog. called dvd ripper. Some dvd can't be ripped those. What they do is rip it from the dvd and put it on ur compt. Once there u can download it on ur dvd.

Well, I have one and you have to put a dvd for the computer in the harddrive. But then you have to put every thing back the way it was.
P.S. make sure you have someone do this for you.
