So why are we destroying it? Why are we doing this to our home, our environment, destroying the ecosystem, etc. Shouldn't we try to restore, if not, keep it safe from everything including from US? (serious answer would be good, thank you, and happy new year =^_^=)

Earth is the only planet we know!! We know that other planets exist, but we don't KNOW them. You are right. We should be very, very careful. Although, I have a lot of faith in Mother Nature and her ability to take care of herself.

Yes, Earth isthe most beutifulaest planet. You can tell by seeing photos from outerspace. Earth is a colorful and unique planet that actually have living organisms. however ppl in the earth feel like they are making your lives bettre. They nevers top to think about the earth because its been here for many years and they think that it will last even longer then expected to who cares. I care and I feel like ppl should help. However, people have differnt opinions on it. Some ppl think it is good for them but they do not think about their surrounding. Like For example, ppl would buy food from resaturant and eat it but they never stop to think who made it and where did the ingredients come from. PPl feel like things just fall of trees. I agree with that ppl are destroying are beloved planet. Us humans think that the world revolves around us so we don't tend to care about what we do to destroy it even if we should. agree were animals destroying the planet and we need to do a better job on it.we should recycle and use solar power more instead of destroying the planet on which we live. There are some ppl who care but there are not enough who actually tkae the time to make a difernce. Ppl feel like the world is perfect. But I feel this is just the beginning of the Earth. The Earth will soon perish if we continue what we are doing. yes, in fact i do agree.....i agree with everything you said. in my belief we worshipo the mother earth and father moon, and sister sky and all the natural things that were provided us to live with and use at our discretion. and if we dont learn to use it more conservatably, we will no doubt lose it all. happy new years.

Hey so being the homosapien's that we are, I don't think any other planets looks too appealing that we know about anyway.
We are not destroying earth, but drastically altering it beyond recognition, and ultimately most probably to an increased rate of our own demise, and many many species with us.
The earth will be here long after we are, and if not, will most definitely become uninhabitable.
I agree with you in part, i don't think people should trash the world as much as we do, but also, no species can inhabit it's environment without altering it.

Then again.....Human doesn't know that many planets....
We should try restoring it, like you say, but let's face it.
We don't do things that make a huge change in the environment.
Maybe one small step at a time...
Hopefully, we'll fix this problem before it's too late

i only really know what earth is as ive never visited other planets. i agree we need to do what we can to save our planet for future generations.
