Because they probably would have just shot him with a high does of elephant tranquilizer in real life so they could study him? I mean seriously how hard is a 25 ft ape to knock out for an hour or two. That movie sucks, Godzilla is way better. Not only that but wouldn't scientists in real life swoop in to study him and probably be way more concerned with the dinosaurs on the Island?

I mean no one in the movie seems too concerned with the fact that dinosaurs were supposed to be extinct millions of years ago. I think Jurassic Park and the original Godzilla are better movies.

Not only that but how fake does that CGI ape look? Dragonslayer had better effects 20 years ago using a model dragon.

the original in 1933 was a ground breaker. the special effects was first rate for the time and it really scared the audience. Hollywood needs to stay away from the remakes and start doing more original work.

It was terrible. I didn't, no let me rephrase that, I couldn't finish it. I am going to have to agree with you, Godzilla is better and yeah! Why wasn't anyone more interested in the dinosaurs?

YESSSS!!!!!!! you are my new favorite person!! Horrible, horrible ending. I cried for like, 30 minutes. why would they kill the monkey?!?!? why didnt they just return it to its home?? why would anyone make such a gosh awful movie. These are questions needing anserwing

king kong is aweful especially the new one. i fell asleep in the theater. i think Jack Black is great but he was very disappointing
