I work in a body shop, the best way to remove bumper stickers without harming the paint is with a pin stripe removal tool. Of course not everyone has one of these so you have to resort to other ways. If it's in good shape you can heat it with a hair drier and peel it off. If not you can find adhesive remover in any auto parts store or wal-mart. You can soak the sticker down with that and slowly rub it off. Good luck.

Use a heat gun. Don't get to close or use too high a setting.
It will peel right off. Use wd-40 or alcohol to remove the glue.
If you use a razor you will cut the bumper.

a blow dryer and a blade....the salesman use those 2 all the time where i work to get off decals and bumper stickers...never fails!!!

There is a special glue you can buy at the hardware store that makes it peel rght off
