He keeps saying it will look good but I don't want it and he is getting angry.Should I be able to decide how to do my hair?

It's your hair, not his - if he wants to die HIS hair, that's his choice, but your head belongs to you, not him - he doesn't own your body just because he married you!

It's your hair, he has no right to decide your hair color, and he is mad??. You should be the one that is angry. What will he deside for you next? Don't ask if you should be able to decide on how to wear your hair, know that it is your right, don't let others, (not even a spouse), make decisions for you, or you will live the rest of your life being a doormat, get some guts gal!!!

Just say NO. You hair, your decision.
But, if you wanted to have some fun - tell him you'll change your hair color if he'll change his & he has to go first.
You can always give it a shot one time and change it back if you don't like it. Just get something out of if you decide to do it - even if it is your husband as a platinum blonde or red head.

Keep this in mind...he's your husband and he should love you for who you are. And I'm sure he does. However, if you asked him to grow a beard, or wear a shirt you bought for him, would he do it? If so, grant him this wish. Better yet, make him do a big favor for you, or change something about him that you don't like, such as being more helpful around the house. If he is willing to do the dishes, you dye your hair. Tell him this, "I will do it this once, but if I don't like it, I'm growing my natural color back out, fair enough?" You never know, you might like the new color anyway!

Well of course not, your husband did'nt marry you w/ brown/ black hair, then why all of the sudden should you have to die it that color just because he wants you to? Would he do something such as that just because you think it might look good on him? NO probley njot. Theres your anwser.

If you are not happy with colouring your hair, then don't do it. You should decide for yourself. Your husband will give in eventually and forget about this. I bet your husband would not like it if you asked him to dye his hair in orange!

tell him to do somthing completly un reasonable and tell him if you do this he has to do that
make sure it is somting that will make you laugh so you have somthing to cheer you up with your new hair
option two bye some wash in wash out hair dye lots cheeper than a wig and less creepy
ps dont dye your eye brows you can go blind if you get it in your eyes

Tell him you'll dye your hair if he dyes his hair bright neon orange. Since he wants to act like a fool, he might as well look like one.

Tell him it's your hair, you value his opinion but it's not happening.
If he gets angry, so what.
Matter of fact, tell your husband he would look good if he looked like Pierce Bronsan. He won't like it, but he will get the point.
