Sunni and Shiite will get deep in civil war because of many reasons:
A) the timing of the execution was in the Eid ALAdha "holyday" of the Sunni so that means they "the Shiite" did it in purpose to "humiliate" Sunni and ruined their holiday.
B) The Place of the execution was a place to execute the betrayers who were in Iran side.
C) The Men who did the execution were wearing civil clothes and they look like in Militias and they didn't look like Government workers.
D) The men said some Shiites Phrases and Curses which show so many hate towards Sunni.

That's like asking if the Concentration Camp tragedies in Germany where millions were murdered will ever 'erased' because Hitler died. The tragedies happened and can never be undone nor forgotten about... and shouldn't be. We need to remember that these horrendous things can still happen. And, it is inevitable that they will continue to happen because even though Hitler and Saddam are dead, there is always some other murderous tyrant to come and fill their shoes.
It's like a Catch 22. If we hadn't gone to war and hung Saddam it would have been like saying "go ahead, attack us again". But being involved in the war and hanging Saddam also angers them further, thus I'm sure that it will inspire more attacks.
You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Saddam's execution will not do much in the present, but it will go down history as the first dictator stopped in mid atrocity. Although, as with many things, the cure maybe worse than the disease for awhile.

Erasing the past is impossible for OH so many reasons.
I don't know that the violence will escalate in Iraq proper, but it will in other areas... I don't see it going away any time soon, anywhere.

it may be stressful for the common layman to estimate the nicely worth of this portray. I continuously say an editorial is barely nicely worth what somebody will pay you for it. My suggestion could be to touch an paintings broking. Or political professional. And benefit their professional opinion. you may desire to continuously submit it on ebay and notice what form of reaction you get.

Neither. Nothing can erase the past. And in my opinion it is going to get worse before it gets better.

It will just bring more death and unrest. Anything to make another martyr for any faction would bring unrest, and this would be considered a martyr by the Sunnis
