What does that mean pyscologically speaking?

I'm not exactly sure but I can tell you this. When a dog gets fed he looks at the one who is feeding him and says in its mind, "surely, this must be god." On the other hand when you feed a cat what's going through its mind is more something like this, "hmm, I must be god."

Dog's you have more responsablity kinda like a baby, cats you don't have to do anything for except change their litter and give food and water. Maybe you have to many things on your plate to really take care of someone else. A cat is more convient.

It could be that cats are more homebodies, and you are pregnant now, so it could have something to do with that. Also, like someone else mentioned, that dogs take more time to care for, whereas cats are pretty self sufficient, and again, since you have kid(s) and one on the way, it probably has something to do with it.
