My boyfriend's birthday is January 9, 1949 and my birthday is January 12, 1959. Is it true that two people with the same astrological sign are not compatible? We get along famously, have fun, hardly ever argue and genuinally love each other. We've been together over 3 years now.

The generalization that same sign couples don't get along is based on biorhythms. Seeing that what happens to one, astrologically is happening to the other at the same time. That works great when good things are happening but when bad stuff happens, it is not a pretty picture. What makes you two work is you have ten years difference between you that sets the charts up so totally different (especially the outer planets) so you are much more likely to get along "famously."

you know, the astrological signs do not always match your personality perfectly. if you and him are great together, then don't give that up for some paper telling you your personality!
