If you are able to start your computer normally you can get your computer to start in safe mode by clicking on the "start" button on the bottom left corner of your screen and left click on "run". In the box that appears, type in msconfig and click ok. On the system configuation screen, click on "boot ini". Put a check mark in "Safe Boot" and click ok. Now restart your computer and you will start up in Safe Mode. When you are done in Safe Mode, just follow the same instructions as above but remove the check mark on "safe mode" and reboot.

I don't know, but I'm gonna watch you're question cause I got to do the same thing. It's the only way I can get rid of spyware, etc.
And I can't watch you're question for answers unless I answer it, so that I can file it. Hope ya don't mind, and good luck!
If I find anything I will add it. Happy New Year! and Good Luck with question.
