You have to talk to them about it and let them know that will hurt your relationship and you don't want that to happen. My first instinct was to tell you to get out but I understand feelings are involved.After talking and things don't get better leave because when a person is possesive in nature things can get abusive and dangerous real fast.

You need to end it because it will only get worse. People are possesive because they have serious trust issues and lets not leave out they have no kind of sef esteem. If there is no trust, its just so unhealthy to try to make it work when the other person doesn't even see it as a problem.

This will just lead to worse things to happen later on if it doesn't stop soon. Talk to your partner about it. If they are not willing to change and accept the fact that they are possessive then I would move on.

The same thing happened to me and eventually it became mildly violent need less to say my divorce was finalized on the 11

Your partner must be very insecure and territorial. Talk to them about it if it bothers you and you're concerned.
