I am not pregnant or anything ((only 15)) but I have always felt a certain way about it so I want to hear both sides of the story.

It is an undeniable fact that every abortion kills an innocent human being. Killing innocent human beings is wrong. There is nothing complicated about it. For more information, take a look at:

Hi Lauren! You will see both sides of this question, I promise you. Pro Life, Pro Choice, etc. Personally, I'm Pro Life, but>>>that's me. There are very few reasons why I would ever abort a pregnancy.

You'll see the word "kill" in some answers. Yes, you are aborting a fetus and yes, killing it. I am a Christian and believe that no one has the right to kill. No man, no woman no reason.

However>>>as I said, there are reasons to abort. The list is confusingly long. Birth defects being a major one. Those who can't afford to take care of a child with defects may consider aborting.

Others, will tell you that they would have the baby anyway, love it, care for it but what happens to the child when the parents can no longer care for it for what ever reason.

A birth defect child, or mentally handicapped child are too often abandoned to foster care or committed to a life of seclusion in a nursing facility. Very few are adopted because of their handicaps. Very few.

Choosing Pro Life or Pro Choice is difficult. Sticking to it is even more difficult. Do your research. There are two links below. The first link is Pro Life, the second is Pro Choice. I hope this helps.

Abortion is killing..plain and simple. If you find yourself pregnant there is another option instead of abortion. Many people want children for adoption. Fill that need for someone who is mature enough to raise a child. There are many out there wishing for a child. Also have you ever watched how an abortion is done?? Very Very disturbing.. How one could abort a baby makes me cry. And i also want to add i understand there are medical circumstances. Which parents or people have to make decisions . Remember what you said when you found out you were pregnant. I am going to have a baby. That is life. Life is precious. Life is a gift. Not to be thrown away.

I find that if your 15, 16 whatever its bad to even do something like that with a boy. I know im sounding like a mom but if you were haveing a baby you should've thought about it doing it alot because so many people out there want a baby of there own, and your just throwing it away? something that so many people want? My friend had an abortion and when we went to my little nefews Christmas celebration she was crying because she knew that she had made a huge mistake, because seeing little 5 year olds in primary singing and just haveing fun really is fun to watch, it makes adults very proud to see their child growing. this is just my opinion on abortion, i dont know if any of you agree, but i really think that if you are going to "do that" and even use control, and you thought that you wouldnt have a baby you shouldnt have been having "that" anyway. there are always chances. if you were subjected to rape, or something along thoughs lines i wouldnt have an abortion, but id put the child up for adoption. if it were to save the mother, then i would defenity talk to the doctor about it.

Firstly I am not religious so there is no 'its a sin' dimension to my answer. I do not judge others that chose to have abortions but I could not have one myself. I did once have a scare during a pregnancy. The results of tests suggested my baby had Downs Syndrome and I was advised to have a termination. I couldn't kill. As things turned out my baby was not affected with the condition and is now a 9 year old girl but that is irrelevant. My decision would have been the right one whatever.

we are almost in 2007 and this is not the age to still wonder to be or not to be.

abortion should not be a moral and social taboo. it's the woman's choice and no one else's.

all those people who say that it's murder are just religious fanatics or, they have done that themselves.

abortion has been practiced since the dawn of time, for as long as the human beings will live abortion will too. read up history and u'll find out how the ancient peole got rid of unwanted pregnancies.

i think it's perfectly fine if a woman decides to have an abortion. people just don't get it that it is not their businness to mendle in.

i'm pro-choice!

Being a teenager isn't an excuse for having an abortion. If you don't want to have a baby, then don't have sex. I believe no matter how far along you are, it is murder. In cases of rape, incest, or medical concerns it's ok. Just not as a form of birth control.

Abortion is needed for certain cases (incest, rape, save life of mother, the baby would not live, and for children).

Abortion is NEVER to be used for birth control. There are methods of birth control out there that are better.
Those women who do abortions twice in a row should be sterilized for their irresponsibility.

If a woman gets accidentally pregnant and doesn't want the baby, she should give it up for adoption instead of aborting it. There are women out there who would want it who cannot have children.

Women have way too many options when it comes to prevention to get pregnant "accidentally" these days. It's not at all difficult to get or use birth control. We have "pro-choice" long before we spread our legs. How barbaric are women when we figure ripping a life from our body is a "right" we demand. It makes me ashamed of my gender.

i'm for it, because if you're still a teenager (like 16 years old) and you get pregnant and you don't want to keep the baby b/c you have other plans in life, then you should get to have an abortion, because, really, if you're 3 weeks into the pregnancy, it's not even a human being you're carrying, so people can't call it murder.

I think if i got pregnant too soon for my liking, i would go through an abortion.

the woman should have the right to choose what she wants to do and not be pressured to give it up for adoption, because that is even harder emotionally.
