Yes it's normal. It's biological. It doesn't mean he's going to cheat on you, or that he doesn't find you attractive. Why would he lie about doing it or try to hide it? Because it's embarrassing for a lot of guys.

I would say no to masturbating being normal in a relationship. He lied to you because he is embarrassed and doesn't want to get rid of his porn watching ways. I personally would not want a guy to be masturbating if we were physically(sexually) connected. What is the purpose? He has you right? Same thing with porn. Think, I'm the one here standing in front of you not the half naked lady on a tape that would probably never give you the time of day. Porn is for little kids not grown men. Grown men can handle their issues. Maybe he has insecurities. Far as sleeping better he needs to change is thinking waves when he goes to sleep (what does he think about at night).

Is he using internet porn to masterbate? That can be a big problem later down the line with your relationship. Most guys need to masterbate to get relief. The reason he isn't talking about it is because he wants his cake and eat it too. People with sexually problems can and do drag others into their problems. Be careful and ask lots of questions. If he doesn't want to answer you you have you answers. Relationships should be open and not a big secert. There are some things better left unsaid but this is not one of them.

Relax, this is very normal. Remember---guys have different hormones than gals, and us men have raging horniess from the time we are in 5th or 6th grade. Most guys have been masturbating their whole lives, and you don't just stop doing it because you're in a relationship. Sometimes it is nice to just "get it out" as is said. Even if he's looking at porn, so what. He's not cheating on you. Fantasy and variety are important to keep your love life interesting. The reason he lies about it is because it's none of your business, really what he does to himself, as long as he's not on crack. Stop asking him!! Plus, by masterbating occasionally it allows us guys to go longer during real sex, so that's a beneift to you!

I think a solution would be for him to agree to only masturbate in front of you. That way it's not masturbating because it will be a sexual experience for you both and it will keep the focus on you. That what I try and do because I do not like to mastrubate because I do not like thinking about other women besides my wife. I mean I do, but I feel like I'm cheating, but I'm a rare breed. BTW is does help you sleep.

It's normal. It's normal for woman too. As for internet porn, it's not right. Everyone is curious and will look, but when you masterbate to it then you have serious issues.

Time out please! It's not uncommon for some men to masturbate to help them relax, get to sleep or even to take care of the issue when their lover isn't there to help out(no offense ladies). However, you say he's lying to you and hiding it from you AND looking AND hiding looking at Internet porn? Let the warning bells commence please. If he's hiding this from you, there is a problem and you need to talk to him about this NOW!!!!! If he won't talk to you or gets evasive about it, RUN, DO NOT WALK, TO THE DOOR!!!!!!!!

I think it's habit that one forms over a period of time and having a steady friend doesn't change the need masturbate. I think that's true with woman as well. My gf does it and i have no problem with it. Once she showed it me while she was taking a shower.

he hides it from you and lies about it because it bothers you. i would lie about it to not have to fight about something that i should be able to do with my own body too. watching porn has nothing to do with the people who are on it. it's fantasy. it doesn't mean that he wants to have sex with those people.
