So I place and order on thursday, dec 28., 2006 on TigerDirect.com, and I choose UPS Second Day for shipping. Now 3 days later, I check the status of the order and it says:

Order Status: To Drop Shipper - Your order being submitted to third-party warehouse for fulfillment and delivery. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing and shipment.

So now I have to wait 1-2 weeks to get the item? I chose second day, so should I get it on monday or tuesday the following week of the order?

It is the Third-party that will start the 2 day shipping. I would complain to who you order this from. May if you know who the third party is cancel your order and buy from them it most likely will be cheaper.

Now hear is a hint for the most part always pay for the cheap shipping, except if it is over night such as FedEx.

Think about it do you really think there is a pile of mail or boxes just off to the side some where to hold for a few day? Or do you think they say pull around the slow truck. Oh till about 20 years ago they would charge for air mail, if you paid for regular mail they did not use a old boat it still went on an airplane.

I order online quite often but I choose ship regular mail. It always says I should get it in 7-10 days but usually I get it within 3 days. I certainly hope that you are charged a lesser shipping fee. If not, I would btch about it if I were you and next time use regular mail.

cc is right - it could also be because of the holidays - hadn't thought about that.
