I am an Apple owner, and any of the Apple laptops will be just great for you. You can also run Windows apps on your Apple's now, so their just isn't any good reason not to have one.

Your requirements are contradictory. You will have to pick whether you want it to be the smallest, most powerful or best value. You cannot have all three.

Alienware is one of the best and most powerful laptops but it cost a small fortune to get one

Well what are your requirements? what is your budget ? and are you in UK or what country and people may be able to suggest a laptop which may somewhat meet your requirements :)
